Beautiful primitive and unusual piece. The wood appears to be maple, very sturdy, inside is in excellent shape. Appears to have never been used or was possibly refinished at some point. The top working surface is in excellent condition. Many uses for this item. Great conversation piece as well. This would be a unique item to your home as these are not readily found.
